Faces of Pride Exhibit
The Heart Gallery NYC PRIDE Exhibits featured LGBTQ youth in need of loving, adoptive families. The exhibits played a critical role in fostering the understanding needed by these children, as well as assisting single, same sex and traditional couples to fulfill a common dream: creating “forever families.” The Heart Gallery Inaugural PRIDE Exhibit launched on June 9, 2014, in honor of Gay Pride Month, hosted by the Times Square Alliance, located in the heart of Times Square. Members of Broadway’s theatrical community participated at the opening event to help encourage positive media attention focusing on the needs of LGBTQ children and their prospective adoptive parents. Other Heart Gallery NYC PRIDE Exhibits were hosted by The New Victory Theater and The Center, the heart and home of NYC’s LGBTQ community. Heart Gallery NYC is proud to be the first Heart Gallery in the nation to host a PRIDE Exhibit, honoring LGBTQ youth in foster care.
