Beyond the Photo

 Heart Gallery NYC was proud to partner with the NYC Administration for Children's Services on "Beyond the Photo: See Me, Know Me", an initiative spotlighting youth considered the most difficult to match with a "forever family." In collaboration with NYC ACS, Heart Gallery NYC identified, photo listed and assisted with the recruitment of adoptive families for older youth, sibling groups wishing to stay together, and children with special needs. Notable photographers generously donated their talents by capturing the individual personalities of these children through amazing photographic images. A quality photo of a waiting child in need of a permanent home is often the first introduction to an adoptive family. The beautiful images that portray the true essence of the children's personalities have been proven to successfully open the hearts... and homes of forever families.
