Heart Gallery NYC Presents: National Heart Gallery Exhibit
The National Heart Gallery Exhibit Launch on Capitol Hill was a great
success! Our beautiful Heart Gallery photos of children across our
nation in need of "forever families" touched everyone who viewed them.
Heart Gallery NYC is the lead organizer for the National Heart Gallery Exhibit, which celebrates the tenth
anniversary of the Heart Gallery project and was launched in honor of National
Adoption Month. Heart
Galleries throughout the nation have created a coalition of support to
raise awareness, nationally and locally, concerning the needs of
children in foster care in need of adoptive families.
The National Heart Gallery Exhibit was on public display at
Tysons Corner Center in the DC area, the 11th largest mall in the country, from November 1st through November 6th. On November 7th, the exhibit traveled back to
Capitol Hill for a one week display in the Russell Senate Office
Building Rotunda and then to Penn Station, NYC for the week of November
The exhibit will continue to travel throughout 2012.
This exhibit has been produced in collaboration with Casey Family programs with support from Freddie Mac Foundation.
